I’m Kieren and I started blogging as a hobby back in 2017 when I launched by backpacking blog, Got My Backpack.

More recently, I’m best known as the man behind Wales Guidebook, the no.1 independent travel blog about my home country. I was featured in the media across Wales on my mission to visit every tourist attraction in the country.

Whilst Wales will forever have a special spot in my heart, it’s damn cold during Winter. I’ve started spending the colder months abroad and find myself drawn back to Bali every year.

I’ve now spent more than 4 years exploring Bali with my girlfriend Emily. We've visited every corner of the island to review all the top attractions and find hidden gems to share on this blog. Every photo you find on this blog was taken by us on our adventures around Bali - no stock images, no AI.
