While Canggu’s day club scene was once all about beachfront views, these days, you’ll find stunning pool bars overlooking the rice paddies too. Whether you’re looking for a high-energy party vibe or a chilled-out spot to soak in the sun, there’s a beach club in Canggu for everyone.

After hopping our way around every beach and pool club in the area, we’ve rounded up our top picks to help you plan the perfect Canggu pool day.

Best Beach Clubs in Canggu

1. FINNS Beach Club

If it's a wild all-day pool party you're looking for, they don’t come much better than the iconic FINNS Beach Club in Canggu.

Located right on Berawa beachfront, Bali's most famous day club is renowned for its lively, youthful atmosphere and energetic all-day parties, with eleven bars across the complex, including a huge swim-up bar in the main pool. The DJ kicks off early, and people are already on the central dance floor by sunset.

General admission to FINNS is free with no need to book ahead. Free entry lets you hang out in the pools and bar areas, with lockers for your belongings (small fee). But if you want a lounger or daybed, you need to commit to a minimum spend.

The circular lagoon pools are our favourite for a day at FINNS with friends, starting with a minimum spend of 3,200,000 IDR ⓘ before 1pm. We'd recommend arriving early for a significant discount and make the most of a full day here.

The beach club has an extensive food offering with three restaurants serving Italian, Mexican, Sushi, and Indian cuisines, all of which can be served directly to your daybed or table. Light snacks start at around 100,000 IDR ⓘ or so.

We find the drink prices at FINNS are fairly reasonable compared to other Canggu beach clubs, especially during the 2-4-1 happy hour every day between 8 and 9pm.

2. La Brisa

La Brisa is a stylish, laid-back beach club on Echo Beach in the heart of Canggu. It has a bohemian-hippie-inspired vibe and an eco-friendly ethos, using reclaimed wood from more than 500 old fishermen's boats in its unusual design.

The club has two small swimming pools and tons of seating areas to choose from, including bean bags right on the beach, day beds, deck chairs, sofa areas, and even a private tower if you're a large group.

There’s no entry fee to La Brisa, but most seating areas do have a minimum spend (starting around 300,000 IDR ⓘ). There are limited free spaces in the pool and bar areas, but these are first-come-first-served and usually fill up quickly.

The large ocean-facing club is a great spot to chill, with a DJ playing tropical beats throughout the day. If you’re visiting around sunset, grab a spot along the beachfront and enjoy the view.

The food menu focuses on locally caught seafood but also includes the likes of burgers, pizzas, and veggie options. Although the venue has an upmarket feel, the menu prices are reasonable compared to other beach clubs in Bali.

3. Le Bajo

Over in Pererenan, Le Bajo is a relatively new day club known for its unique Labuan Bajo-inspired theme. If you're unfamiliar, this is a town on another Indonesian island and the gateway to Komodo National Park (known for its Komodo dragons).

The large day club centres around a huge multi-level swimming pool shaped like a Komodo dragon, surrounded by plenty of daybeds and cabanas. Despite being away from the coast, the sand and palm trees still give the venue a cool tropical beach club vibe.

You can enjoy the pool at Le Bajo for free, while all daybeds have a minimum spend of 500,000 IDR ⓘ. Try to book ahead if you want a bed - we had to wait a while for a free one last time we visited. Alternatively, you can sit in the restaurant or on the new rooftop area.

The poolside menu includes Western dishes like pizzas, salads, and sandwiches, huge enough to last all day. You can also enjoy Le Bajo's on-site Biru restaurant for contemporary Flores dishes or Enya Izakaya for authentic Japanese cuisine.

4. Lima Bay

Lima Bay has long been a top foodie destination in Canggu, serving up delicious Mediterranean dishes. But the Palm-Springs-inspired spot has recently undergone a huge transformation, adding day beds and a pool to become a stylish day club.

The club's clean whites and pastel pink décor perfectly contrast with the lush green rice paddies outside. The small turquoise pool has plenty of floating bean bags and a swim-up bar with excellent happy hour deals, making it a fantastic spot to relax with a drink.

Every now and then, Lima Bay hosts afternoon pool parties or evening events where things can get rather lively. But for the most part, the small club is still somewhat of a peaceful hidden gem. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised only to find a handful of other people.

We opted for one of the snug day beds built into the coves, but there are also cabanas and sun loungers right by the pool. The pool club is free to visit with no minimum spend for beds or tables (outside of special events).

5. Café Del Mar

Conveniently located between Canggu and Seminyak, Café Del Mar is the sister club to the established Ibiza venue of the same name.

The luxurious beach club blends the vibrant spirit of the Mediterranean with the tropical allure of Bali. It's one of the more laid-back beach clubs on this list, opting for a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe.

The décor oozes luxury, especially the large infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Despite its upscale setting, the minimum spend and menu prices remain quite reasonable.

The large beach club has live DJs playing each day from 4pm. The style of music varies depending on the DJ, but it’s usually pretty chilled-out beats. They also have Latin dance nights at the club every Tuesday.

Occasionally big artists play at the venue’s main stage and the evening party gets a little more lively. Emily saw James Hype play a set at Cafe Del Mar with some friends and hasn't stopped raving about it ever since.

6. Atlas Beach Club

It’s a bold statement calling yourself the biggest beach club in the world, but one Atlas doesn’t shy away from. The new Canggu mega club can hold up to 10,000 guests, with loads of seating areas and massive infinity pools that overlook the beach and ocean.

During the day, Atlas has a laid-back, family-friendly vibe, complete with a dedicated kids’ pool and play area. Come mid-afternoon, the energy shifts as the party kicks off and continues well into the night, with live DJs and music setting the tone throughout.

Entry to use the beach club's pools and bar area is completely free. But if you want a daybed or seating in the VIP area, there’s an additional minimum spend policy, which starts at 500,000 IDR ⓘ during the day or 1,000,000 IDR ⓘ after 4pm.

Private sofa areas for bigger groups are much more expensive, ranging from 8,000,000 IDR ⓘ to 15,000,000 ⓘ minimum spend. These come with semi-private pools, dedicated butler service, and VIP perks, perfect for birthday celebrations, bachelor/ette parties, and other special occasions.

After dark, everyone heads across to Atlas Superclub, a three-story nightclub on the same site. This new-ish club has already attracted some big artists, including Disclosure and Martin Garrix.

7. Sol Rooftop

Sitting right above Pererenan Beach, Sol Rooftop merges elements of a beach club with a trendy rooftop bar. It has a similar look and feel to La Brisa, with cool bohemian-chic vibes, only it’s completely open-air with a panoramic view across the beach and ocean.

When it’s just the two of us, we like to cosy up on the hammock nets of the upper deck, but the booths are ideal when visiting with larger groups. On the lower deck is a small pool, complete with floaties and sun loungers. They have a DJ playing tropical beats throughout the day until close at 11pm.

Around sunset is when the atmosphere at Sol really picks up. The rooftop pool club is perfectly positioned to enjoy the fiery colours that light up the sky as the sun dips below the horizon.

With no minimum spend, it doesn't matter whether you plan to spend a full day here or pop by for a casual sunset drink.

8. Alternative Beach

Why go to the beach when Alternative Beach can bring it to you? This popular Canggu day club has sand, umbrellas, palm trees, and bean bags, recreating that oceanfront experience just a few hundred meters away from Batu Bolong Beach.

The club is centred around a large pool with a swim-up bar. There is also a slide anchored to an adjacent building that launches you into the water from a fair height - we're yet to try it ourselves but it looks rather painful!

Only open until 6pm, the daytime atmosphere is lively but relaxed. On weekends, seating fills up quickly, and daybeds are usually full by lunchtime, so be sure to arrive early. The vibe ramps up during occasional afternoon pool parties, complete with a live DJ.

The day club is shared between Kos Hostel and Canggu Village Accommodation but is also open to the public with a minimum spend of 100,000 IDR ⓘ. You can put this towards day beds (50,000 IDR), pool towels (50,000 IDR), or food and drink from their café and bar.

We also love going to Alternative's open-air cinema nights every Monday, where you can cozy up on a beanbag and enjoy a movie with a fresh coconut in hand.

9. Valle

Valle is an upmarket restaurant and pool club overlooking the lush green paddies of Canggu's Padang Linjong Street, an area known for its many restaurants spread among the rice fields. The elegant, two-story venue has a wrap-around infinity pool that borders three sides of the club, complete with floating bean bags and seating.

The pool club has a laid-back vibe and never gets particularly busy during the day, so it's a great place to relax with a drink and enjoy its fantastic menu of Japanese fusion dishes. Occasionally, Valle hosts evening parties with a live DJ or band, but these still tend to have a cool, mellow atmosphere.

The pool club is free to enter, with complimentary towel use and no minimum spend on the restaurant tables or bar stalls. However, if you'd rather use a daybed or sun lounger, you will have to commit to a minimum spend.

There's a lovely view of the sunset from the upper floor terrace, and, if you stay until after dark, the pool illuminates with hundreds of tiny lights embedded inside it like twinkling stars. It's really quite magical.

10. The Lawn

The Lawn is a smaller and more low-key beach club in Canggu. Located at the end of busy Batu Bolong, the beachfront venue has a great view across the ocean and makes an excellent sunset spot.

There's no entry fee or minimum spend if you sit at the tables inside. But most people opt for the loungers, bean bags, and daybeds surrounding the infinity pool which begin at 300,000 IDR ⓘ minimum spend.

The Lawn is a popular post-surf spot among the local surfing community, with plenty of schools and board rentals nearby. They have a DJ playing chilled but lively tunes throughout the day and evening.

11. Luna Beach Club

We weren't sure about including Luna on this list, as it’s a 30-minute drive up the coast in Tabanan's up-and-coming Nuanu City resort area. But this place is insane, so we decided we had to add it in!

Opened in 2024, Luna is the newest kid on the block, and they’ve gone BIG to impress. The venue has been designed to feel more like a festival than a beach club, with its sprawling open plan and unusual Burning Man-esque sculptures, including the iconic Luna Rising and a 360 projection mapping lighthouse.

Spread over 2 hectares, there’s a main amphitheatre-style beach club area, a beautiful bamboo restaurant, a cliff-top beer garden, the unique Utopia Cave Club, a gelato and sweet shop, luxury private dining areas, and even a wedding chapel.

While there's not one main pool area, there are several smaller warm and cold pools around the venue, as well as direct beach access from the club.

Our favourite area was definitely the Utopia Cave Club, which features a swimming pool inside a man-made cave, with a swim-up bar, floating beanbags, ocean views, and even a slide.

Each area has a different food menu, with most focusing on familiar yet high-end dishes. At Luna Restaurant, you’ll find the likes of oysters, octopus, tartare, lobster, and steak. The beach club menu has a slightly more toned-down offering, with sushi, burgers, pizza, salads, and more.

If you’re visiting Luna, it’s worth sticking around into the evening when the entire venue lights up with vibrant light shows and spectacular live performances. Nighttime parties at Luna last well into the early hours, with live DJs hitting the decks every night of the week.
