Best Beach Clubs in South Bali
1. FINNS Beach Club, Canggu

If it's a lively all-day pool party you're looking for, FINNS Beach Club in Canggu is the place to be! With an energetic atmosphere and eleven bars across the complex, including a 360-degree swim-up bar in the main pool, there's always a party at FINNS.
The DJ here kicks off early, and dancers are already on the podiums by sunset. We’ve partied here several times, and the atmosphere only gets busier and crazier as the night goes on.
FINNS is split into different areas depending on the vibe you're looking for. We usually choose the beach party area close to the dance floor and main pool (neon blue umbrellas). But if you're looking for something more laid-back or are visiting with children, the beach deluxe area is better (black umbrellas).

General admission to FINNS is free with no need to book ahead. We often hang out in the pools or bar areas without paying for seating (there are lockers for your belongings). But if you want a lounger or daybed, you do need to commit to a minimum spend.
FINNS has an extensive food menu compared to other beach clubs, with 7 kitchens and 3 restaurants on-site. There are separate menus for Italian, Mexican, Sushi, Indian, and some classic dishes too. The drinks prices at FINNS are fairly reasonable, especially during the 2-4-1 happy hour every day from 8-9pm.

2. Desa Potato Head, Seminyak

Located right on the beachfront in central Seminyak, Desa Potato Head is our favourite beach club in Bali for a laid-back day in the sun. We also love stopping by in the evening to enjoy the amazing sunsets from the pool with a drink in hand.
The huge club is modern and artsy, with an unusual facade made from thousands of recycled window shutters and colourful lost flip-flops. Three long infinity pools line the beachfront, with several different seating areas and bars offering amazing ocean views.
Compared to some of the more lively and party-centric beach clubs in South Bali, Potato Head's cool and mellow vibe appeals to everyone, from young people to families with kids and older couples.

The beach club and connecting resort are famous for their eco-friendly ethos, with an on-site recycling workshop that turns waste into furniture, gifts, and art installations. They also support many community projects, including mangrove conservation and local orphanages.
Another thing we love about Potato Head is that it offers far more than your standard beach club. Branding itself as a "creative village," it offers a huge range of events and experiences. You can enjoy free live music on Sundays, yoga and wellness sessions, fitness classes, beach clean-ups, jamu-making, documentary screenings, kids events, and more - see the full schedule.

3. Sundays, Uluwatu

While most beach clubs in Bali are located next to the beach or on the clifftop above, Sundays in Uluwatu has its very own private beachfront. The beautiful white sand bay is lined with bean bags and sunbeds where you can spend the day relaxing, eating, swimming, and sunbathing.
The club's famous cable car takes you down the steep cliff to the beachfront, with amazing views over the coastline along the way. There are still a couple of flights of steps to conquer at the bottom, so the beach club isn't particularly accessible with wheelchairs or strollers.
There’s no swimming pool at Sundays. There again, who needs a pool when you have the beautiful turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean right in front of you? The sea next to Sundays is surprisingly calm and one of the best spots in South Bali for swimming and snorkelling.

Sundays is part of the 5-star Ungasan Clifftop Resort, which is known for its cliff-edge infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Resort guests get free access to the club, while there's an entrance fee and minimum spend for non-guests.
We tend to buy standard entry and get there before midday to claim a spot on the bean bags, which are first-come, first-served. There are also VIP loungers and cabanas for an extra fee. Keep in mind that the amount of seating varies with the tide, so you may be restricted to the restaurant at high tide.

During the day, you can use the club's kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkels for free. Each evening, bonfires are built along the beach so you can toast marshmallows as the sun goes down.
On weekends, Sundays also has live music and DJs. Although it's still a very relaxed atmosphere compared to other beach clubs. Look out for their Movies by The Beach evening, where you can enjoy an open-air cinema night on the sand.

4. El Kabron, Bukit Peninsula

El Kabron is a lively beach club perched on the clifftop next to Dreamland Beach. The upmarket spot has an incredible ocean view and serves some of the best Spanish food we've tried in Bali — don't miss the patatas bravas!
But our absolute favourite thing about El Kabron is their elaborate daily sunset pool parties. Every afternoon from around 3pm, a DJ sets the vibe, joined later by incredible sax, trumpet, and violin players who elevate classic tracks with their live performances.
As the sun starts to dip below the horizon, waitresses walk through the crowd handing out sparklers, smoke machines fill the air, and guests twirl handkerchiefs to the music. The atmosphere becomes truly electric.

El Kabron isn't somewhere to go on a budget. Every seating area has a minimum spend, starting at 400,000 IDR ⓘ for the restaurant tables without pool access. But to properly enjoy this club, we highly recommend getting a pool-access sofa or daybed and sticking around for the afternoon and evening!

5. Savaya, Uluwatu

Savaya scoops the prize when it comes to the most impressive venue. Located on a 100m high clifftop in Uluwatu, the iconic beach club has two large infinity pools with swim-up bars, overlooked by its iconic cube bar, which is seemingly suspended over the cliff edge.
More of an evening party spot than a relaxed dayclub, Savaya is known for attracting world-famous DJs and artists, including the likes of Calvin Harris, Fisher, Kygo, Jason Derulo, Eric Prydz, and Camelpha. When big artists are playing, it’s a ticketed event so you’ll need to book ahead.
With a minimum age of 21, Savaya is a popular hangout spot among Bali's chic and affluent crowd, so make sure you dress to impress. It has opulent décor and many VIP tables and booths across the club.

On non-event days with local DJs playing, you still need a general admission ticket costing 300,000 IDR ⓘ, which gives you access to the pools and bar areas. Sometimes, you can secure free guest list by messaging them on Instagram in advance.
If you're staying for the day and want somewhere to sit and leave your belongings, you'll need a deckchair or daybed. There's a minimum spend commitment for seating, which starts at 2,000,000 IDR ⓘ for 4 people in the lounge area.
The food menu at Savaya isn’t huge. It includes a small selection of pizza, sandwiches, salads, rice bowls, and sushi. The food here is good but pretty expensive compared to other beach clubs.

6. Luna Beach Club, Nuanu City

Luna is one of the newest beach clubs in Bali, but it's already proving a massive hit! The huge mega-club sits on Bali's west coast, around a 30-minute drive north of central Canggu.
The club's location is fairly remote, plus you have to take a shuttle from the main parking area to the club itself, so it's definitely not somewhere to pop by for a quick drink - it's more of a full day out activity.
The venue was designed to feel more like a festival than a traditional beach club, with its sprawling open plan, spread over a whopping 2 hectares, and unusual Burning Man-esque sculptures, including the iconic Luna Rising and a huge 360 projection mapping lighthouse.

There's the main amphitheatre-style beach club area, a beautiful bamboo restaurant, a cliff-top beer garden, the unique Utopia Cave Club, a gelato and sweet shop, luxury private dining areas, and even a wedding chapel. There are also several warm and cold pools and direct beach access.
Our favourite area was definitely the Utopia Cave Club, which features a large swimming pool inside an all-white man-made cave, with a swim-up bar, floating beanbags, ocean views, and even a slide.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the on-site sweet shop, which not only served a fantastic espresso martini but also had delicious gelato and a huge chocolate fountain!

Each of the club's areas has a different food menu, with most of them focusing on familiar yet high-end dishes. At Luna Restaurant, you'll find the likes of oysters, octopus, tartare, lobster, and steak. The beach club offers a slightly more laid-back menu, with sushi, burgers, pizza, salads, and more.
If you're visiting Luna, it's definitely worth sticking around into the evening when the entire venue lights up with vibrant light and lazer shows and spectacular live performances. Parties at Luna last well into the early hours, with live DJs hitting the decks every night of the week.

7. Atlas Beach Fest, Canggu

Atlas is the self-proclaimed biggest beach club in the world. And this doesn't feel like an exaggeration. Entering the club is like stepping into a small village, complete with shops, restaurants, and more ocean-facing infinity pools than we could count.
During the day, the atmosphere is laid back, attracting a mix of visitors, from young people enjoying a few drinks to families - there's even a dedicated kids pool with slides. As the day progresses, it becomes a little livelier, but with such a large venue, it takes a decent crowd for the atmosphere to really take hold.

Atlas is free to enter if you just want to hang out in one of the main pools. Although it’s best to book a daybed if you’re sticking around for a while, as seating is extremely limited for walk-in guests. We'd recommend the surf side day beds, which are actually in the pool - the other day beds are quite far away.
After dark, the beach club crowd moves to Atlas Superclub, a three-storey nightclub on the same site. This relatively new club has already attracted some notable artists, including Disclosure and Martin Garrix. Entry to the superclub is free for women, but men have to pay (except on weekdays during low season).

8. La Brisa, Canggu

La Brisa is a relaxed beach club at the heart of Echo Beach in Canggu. It has a cool bohemian, eco-friendly décor, made using reclaimed wood from more than 500 old fishermen's boats.
Their menu prices are reasonable compared to other beach clubs in Bali. The food focuses on locally caught seafood but also has burgers, pizzas, and veggie options.
There is no entry fee for the pool and bar areas at La Brisa, although minimum spend applies for seating areas which range from single bean bags on the beach to a private tower for up to 10 guests. We recommend sitting near the beachfront as the sunsets from La Brisa are incredible on a clear day.

During the day, La Brias has a low-key, chilled vibe, with the bulk of the crowds arriving around sunset. The club occasionally hosts big parties on a Saturday night, but we much prefer to come here during the day or for sunset.
Make a Reservation: Reserve a space at La Brisa
La Brisa's famous Sunday market is also a must-visit, with local vendors selling items including clothes, soaps, skin care products, jewellery, and gifts. The high-quality products are a step above other tourist markets, and there’s some tasty street food on offer.

9. Tropical Temptation, Uluwatu

Tropical Temptation is a stylish beach club overlooking the beautiful white sands of Melasti Beach, the southernmost point in Bali. With its tribal art, giant statues, and earthy textures, the venue blends Balinese charm with Tulum’s bohemian flair.
The beach club has several small infinity pools, including one that extends out over the beach and another with lagoon-style day beds and floating bean bags. There’s also direct beach access, so you can easily enjoy the powdery soft sands and calm waves of Melasti itself.

The cocktails here are one of the highlights at TT, with unique recipes and creative presentations. One of ours arrived in a coconut, while another came in a bamboo tube. While certainly not the cheapest in town, both the food and drinks were high-quality and fantastic.
Tropical Temptation is more of a daytime club than a late-night spot, with DJs wrapping up shortly after sunset, so it’s best to arrive early and make the most of your visit.
Make a Reservation: Reserve a bed at Tropical Temptation (inc. extra food and drink credits)

10. Ulu Cliff House, Uluwatu

Ulu Cliff House is a clifftop day club on the western coast of Uluwatu. On the top level, you’ll find a huge 25m pool surrounded by day beds looking out over the ocean.
This is one of our favourite sunset spots in Uluwatu. We recommend sitting on the terrace area that overhangs the ocean for a peaceful sunset view. Although the seating fills up quickly so get here early.
As the night goes on, attention turns to the ocean deck which can be reached down an unassuming set of steps to the left of the pool. This is where the evening parties take place, with two bars and a central dance floor.

We rarely visit Uluwatu without stopping by Ulu Cliff House. Our favourite time to visit is Tuesday evening when you can enjoy the club's open-air movie from the day beds, accompanied by a delicious pizza.
There is no entrance fee for Ulu Cliff House, but there is a minimum spend for some seating areas. During the weekdays, this starts at 700,000 IDR ⓘ for 4 people, making it one of the most affordable options in Uluwatu. The menu prices are fairly reasonable too.
Although they brand themselves as a beach club, note that there is no direct access to the beach.

If you can’t get enough of the clifftop views, you can also stay at Ulu Cliffhouse in one of the seven individually styled suites that overlook the ocean.

11. Mrs Sippy, Seminyak

Mrs Sippy is a family-friendly beach club in Seminyak (although not technically on the beach), centred around a huge lagoon pool. The club has a cool yet casual atmosphere, with a DJ playing tropical beach club beats that gets more upbeat as the day progresses.
If you’re brave enough, there are three diving platforms from 1m to 5m high, but we left this to the pros while we watched from the floating bean bags.

We’ve not tried the food, but they specialise in freshly caught seafood which you can choose yourself. If that isn’t to your taste, they also have a wood-fired pizza oven.
There’s a 100,000 IDR ⓘ entry fee, plus 50,000 IDR for towel rental (you can’t bring your own). Minimum spend applies for daybeds and cabanas.
While not the cheapest, it’s worth the price if you’re planning to spend a whole day here. The entrance fee limits the crowds, so you can relax and enjoy the club’s laid-back vibe.

There is no entry fee or minimum spend if you sit at the tables inside. However, there is a minimum spend for the loungers, bean bags, and day beds surrounding the beachside infinity pool.
The Lawn is also a popular post-surf spot among the local surf crowd, with lots of schools and board rentals nearby. They have a DJ playing chilled but lively tunes throughout the day and evening.
The club occasionally hosts evening parties with big artists playing. But the small venue gets very crowded and they ramp up the drinks prices during these events. We prefer it as a chilled daytime spot instead.

13. Café Del Mar, Canggu

Sister club to the established Ibiza venue of the same name, Café Del Mar is a large, luxury beach club in Canggu that combines the vibrant spirit of the Mediterranean with the tropical essence of Bali. It’s one of the more chilled beach clubs in Bali, with a laid-back yet upmarket vibe.
The décor oozes luxury, especially the large infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Yet the minimum spend and menu prices are fairly reasonable compared to other big beach clubs in the area.

The club has DJs playing each day from 4pm. The style of music depends on which DJ is playing that day, but it’s usually pretty chilled-out beats. They also have Latin dance nights at the beach club every Tuesday.
Occasionally, big artists play at the venue's main stage, and the evening party gets a little more lively. Emily went to see James Hype at Cafe Del Mar and had an amazing night!
If you feel like splashing out, you can reserve one of the booths right in the middle of the pool which can seat up to 10 people. Although the venue is rather upscale, the dress code is still very casual and relaxed.

14. Ku De Ta, Seminyak

Ku De Ta is small compared to some of the super clubs on this list. However, it is one of Seminyak’s original beach clubs, remaining a firm Bali favourite for almost 25 years.
What makes Ku De Ta stand out is its luxurious and exclusive vibe and its award-winning culinary offering. There's a casual and reasonably priced lunch menu, but the dinner menu (from 5pm) is when you get the real good stuff.
The venue's South African head chef has created a fantastic menu that features the likes of wood-fired steaks amongst other Western and Indonesian dishes. If you're a meat-eating foodie, you'll love it.
This is another of the more family-friendly beach clubs in Bali during the day and evening. Kids can enjoy the small beachfront infinity pool. On Sundays, they even have family activities from 10am-2pm.

Throughout the rest of the week, the club hosts activities such as yoga, workshops, and volleyball (find out more on Instagram). They even have a spa inside the beach club where you can get massages and treatments.
And if it's a party you're after, KU DE TA is known for hosting some of the biggest beachfront parties in Bali each summer season, including their extravagant annual White Party.
There’s no entry fee to KU DE TA. Although a minimum spend applies if you want a day bed. Some of the bigger evening events are ticketed.

OneEighty is a clifftop day club that’s part of The Edge, a 5-star resort in Uluwatu with luxury villas that overlook the ocean. The day club is open to everyone, not just resort guests.
They have four different pools including a natural pool known as the lagoon.
The most iconic feature is their infinity pool which extends 6m over the edge of the cliff. It has a glass bottom so you can see the waves crashing against the cliff below as you swim. Keep in mind that this is a big photo spot so you certainly won’t have the pool to yourself.
Regular admission is 100,000 IDR ⓘ plus 400,000 IDR minimum spend per person. This includes access to the pool and first-come, first-served seating.
VIP admission will get you preferential seating, a welcome granita, and free-flow water (if that’s not sold you, what will?!). If you want a private cabana, the entry price jumps significantly - see all prices below.
The menu has a lot of seafood dishes and a very extensive wine list, but it's among the more expensive of the beach clubs in this guide. Shisha is available too.

Beach Clubs in North Bali
16. Sunset Point, Amed

While most of the top beach clubs in Bali are located in the south of the island, one of the newest clubs can be found in Amed in the northeast, Sunset Point.
We’ve been back to Sunset Point several times since it opened a few years ago, and it only seems to get bigger and better every time we visit.
The clifftop club has loungers, bean bags, and a huge wrap-around infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Like Savaya and Ulu Cliffhouse, there is no direct beach access, but it does offer some fantastic views of the surrounding bay.

Sunset Point is only open throughout the day and evening and is an excellent vantage point to watch the sun disappearing behind Mount Agung, accompanied by a live band each night.
While people tend to stick around for a short while after sunset, the beach club isn't a huge party spot and the bar shuts at 8pm.
Although the club is free to enter, there is a minimum spend of 125,000 IDR ⓘ per person, no matter where you sit. The food and drink here are quite affordable compared to beach clubs in the south of the island.

You can order food and drinks to your table or directly to the pool. Of course, we always opt for the latter! We’ve never had a full meal here so we can’t comment on how good the food is, but we do recommend checking the reviews first.

Beach Clubs on the Nusa Islands
17. Ohana's, Nusa Lembongan

Ohana's is one of the most popular beach clubs in Nusa Lembongan, a small island paradise around a 30-minute ferry off the east coast of mainland Bali.
The beach club sits right on the island’s main beach, Jungutbatu. If you aren’t staying nearby, they offer a pickup service. The stylish spot has an ocean-facing pool with a swim-up bar, plenty of daybeds and deckchairs (with minimum spend), beanbags on the beach, and an on-site pizzeria and gelato stall.

Right next door to Ohanas is a small rental company offering kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (for an additional fee) to head out on the calm water.
While you could easily spend a full day lounging at Ohana’s, the best time to visit is around sunset for the nightly bonfire and chilled-out tunes. On Wednesdays and Fridays, there are DJs until late and Sundays are all about live music.
Ohana's Beach Club is part of the boutique beachfront resort of the same name, which offers spacious suites with boho chic decor and a second private pool and garden for guests only. Guests at the resort get beach club priority.

18. Cactus Beach Club, Nusa Penida

Cactus is our favourite beach club in Nusa Penida, another island just east of mainland Bali. The large, modern club has cool tropical decor and an enormous multi-level infinity pool that cascades down towards the ocean, complete with floating bean bags and a variety of seating areas.
You can eat in the stylish restaurant, lounge around by the pool, hang out with friends on the sofa areas, or sunbathe in peace right next to the ocean.

There's currently no entry fee and no minimum spend for any seating areas at Cactus, which is rare for beach clubs in Bali. We enjoyed a large comfy daybed to ourselves for the afternoon - total bliss!
The beach club serves a fantastic menu of international dishes, featuring tapas, sushi, pasta, salads, tacos, and more. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, especially the chicken and pesto gnocchi which was our favourite!
There's also an extensive drinks menu including wines, cocktails and mocktails, beers, spirits, soft drinks, and more. Food and drink prices at Cactus are reasonable given the stunning location.
